Abstract:

The article focuses readers’ attention on two important issues of young builders’ socialization in the region — the professional training of young people and the impact of the working and domestic micro-environment on their lives. On the basis of archival data, including the previously unpublished, the article shows the educational level of young people who arrived at the construction site on the public call. The article reveals the essence and peculiarities of obtaining the profession without being absent from work and the relationships between the workers.

The role of the trest and building administration to ensure good living conditions for young people’s stay in hostels is also shown. The main forms of builders’ professional preparing are analyzed. The youth’s working conditions and their domestic problems are studied. The shortcomings in the organization of young people’s work and life, especially in the hostels for young builders, are highlighted and shown. The information about violations of labor discipline and public order and measures of the impact on the holders of these negative phenomena is included.
