Abstract:

The article reveals the importance of A. S. Makarenko pedagogical ideas and experience in the development of modern education. The author of the article emphasizes national-oriented nature of A. S. Makarenko’s pedagogics, its conformity to the latest aims of Russian education — the formation of national values and studying Russian identity. The author highlights the essence of a number of methodological fundamentals of A.S. Makarenko’s pedagogical system: its dialectical character — development through the resolution of conflicts, unity of education and life through the dialectical interaction of subjective and objective factors, the causes of the parallel actions — unity and difference of essence and phenomenon in the pedagogical process, the unity of active and behavioral approaches — the organization of pupils’ experience as a condition for the development of their subjective activity on the one hand, and the automated formation of skill behavior (mental activity patterns), on the other hand.
