Abstract:

The article is devoted to the characteristic features of poetics and conceptual sphere of V.A. Soloukhin’s prose in 1960s. The writer skillfully synthesized traditions of classical Russian literature, the European avant-garde of the 1960s and a method of essay writing. Нe used the rhizome model of creativity, his storyteller is the keeper of cultural memory, publicist, historian, literary critic, philosopher and interlocutor who creates a dialog with the reader. Soloukhin understands the process of writing as the eternal practice of text that destroys borders between elite and mass literature. His essays on Nature are characterized by a fluctuation of art and non-art at the edge of an autobiographical story, a historical chronicle, literary research, a diary, a sketch of customs and life, a publicistic and philosophical essay.
