Elena I. Seifert,Abstract:
The study in terms of the V. Vigotsky theory on the psychological reception of a fable allows us to identify the following special aspects of this genre. In a fable, either the observation, or the violation of the natural “modus operandi” of characters may be seen — two types of fables come around, which we call natural (Pfeiffer A., Moral des Löwen [The Lion’s Moral]) and artificial (Frank R., Der Hahn und die Hennen [The Cock and the Hens]). When one character behaves naturally, and the other one violates the natural logic (Sachs A., Der alte Wolf [The Old Wolf]), a mixed fable takes place. The effect the natural and the artificial fables have on a reader has been corroborated by an experiment on an archireader. Striving for the freedom of action and sympathy with the oppressed stir up, among the Russian Germans (both the writers and the readers), the keen perception and understanding of a natural or an artificial unraveling of a fabulous plot. Therein, a display of a Russian-German keen aspiration for the just and rightful attitude to oneself, and of the key national concept of “das Recht”, “die Gerechtigkeit” (“Right”) is noticeable. Keywords:
