The use of artificial intelligence in scientific work is currently experiencing significant interest among humanities scholars, as it allows for a significant reduction in the amount of routine preparatory and design work required for research. Based on an analysis of the algorithm, it is proposed to consider its potential application in assessing the results of humanities research, taking into account a number of features of artificial intelligence itself and the specific socio-psychological makeup of the authors. The relevance of using modern information technologies in science is also determined by attempts to replace scientific and practical work with pseudoscientific research. Human moral, intellectual, and emotional-creative abilities are becoming an important criterion for the validity of humanities research. These factors influence the quality of the artificial intelligence information base and, in their absence, can lead to the generation of false and incomplete answers. In legal science, the use of artificial intelligence can be harmful precisely from this perspective — it can generate pseudoscientific results that are too close to the truth and unsuitable for practical use. An important task for which artificial intelligence can be effective is the preparation of scientific humanities publications for publication: text processing, formatting references and source lists, checking for plagiarism, spelling, stylistics, etc. Keywords:
