Abstract:

Modern geopolitical conditions determine the need to expand foreign economic cooperation in new organizational forms. China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) not only provides investments to the host country, but also disseminates progressive experience in creating and managing industrial parks. Based on scientific research, recommendations of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and materials from rating agencies for assessing industrial parks, the article considers the creation of industrial parks considering new geopolitical realities. The article analyzes the activities of the China–Belarus Industrial Park “Great Stone” as a new form of mutual cooperation and attracting technological investments. The article considers the main fiscal preferences and foreign economic factors influencing the activities of residents of the industrial park. The authors conclude that there is a positive experience in creating industrial parks within the framework of foreign economic cooperation and the BRI.
