His research interests are connected with the sociology of education, child, age-specific and pedagogical psychology, the psychology of art, and ethnopsychology. He is the initiator and author of a number of new areas of research in the field of the sociology of education. He made a significant contribution to the development of theoretical and applied aspects of the sociology of education, social, age-specific and pedagogical psychology. In particular, he developed the methodological principles of a multi-position sociological analysis of the educational situation, put forward a statement on sociocultural educational trajectories, investigated the types of parental educational strategies. Under the supervision of Vladimir Sobkin defended 15 theses for the degree of candidate of sciences. The number of publications in the Web of Science – 67, Scopus – 40. Author of more than 700 scientific papers.
