Abstract:

Propagation of compression or rarefaction acoustic waves in porous medium, the skeleton of which is gas hydrate, is investigated. Hydrate association or dissociation is possible during wave propagation. The influence of medium and initial wave parameters on wave evolution is analyzed. It is shown that the processes of hydrate association or dissociation have no visible impact on wave propagation during the considered time.
