Abstract:

The distribution of nonstationary temperature fields on the surface and in the body of the target under impact of highly-focused heavy ions beam is investigated with the usage of numerical modeling. Temperature increase in the radiation area at substrate layer is insignificant and safe towards restructuring, sublimation and melting. The comparison of temperature field distribution in target with film coating and without one shows that maximum temperature of the single-layer substrate is only slightly higherin comparison with the two-layered one.
