Damir A. Gubaidullin

Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. Sci. (Phys.-Math.), Professor, Director of the Institute of Mechanics and Engineering – Subdivision of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science "Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences" (Kazan, Russia).

Member of the Russian National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. World-class specialist in fluid and gas mechanics. He developed the theory of the propagation of weak waves in vapor-gas droplet and bubble media. Nonstationary wave outflow of boiling hydrocarbons at pipeline rupture was studied. Nonlinear oscillations of aerosols and particle dynamics in pipes were investigated. The resonant nature of the deposition of droplets on the frequency of the acoustic field and the possibility of effective acoustic deposition of the most problematic submicron droplets are established. Included in the editorial council of the journal, section "Fluid, Plazma, and Gas Mechanics".
