Valeriy I. Gurov

Dr. Sci. (Tech.), Professor, Head of sector in the Central Institute of Aviation Motors (Moscow, Russia).

World-class specialist in turbopumps of liquid rocket engines. The main areas of research are: the development of problems of modeling the stability of the flow of various cavitating fluids in vane pumps; the use of hydrogen in energy-generating systems. With regard to the natural gas distribution system, the expediency of using turboexpanders instead of pressure regulators at gas distribution stations was justified only in integration with gas turbine plants. Author of more than 100 patents for inventions. The patent on hydrogen energy and the patent of a gas-turbine plant for the disposal of solid household waste are among the top 100 inventions of Russia. Included in the editorial board of the journal, section "Thermal Physics and Thermology".
