Abstract:

The article analyzes the formation of public and legal institutions of Russian sphere of management in the era of unification of several principalities under the Grand Duchy of Moscow and the strengthening of Russian kingdom in the 14th-17th centuries. The study is based on the theoretical concept by Max Weber on the evolution of management systems from patrimonial domination to the legal-rational administration model. The author substantiates the formation of the patrimonial power structure within the specified period of historical development of Russian public and legal institutions. The author reveals the preconditions of the formation of the described model in Russian kingdom on the basis of historical-genetic and concrete historical approaches. The author also indicates specific features and characteristics of the patrimonial power structure which was implemented in public and legal institutions of Russian kingdom.
