Abstract:

The article deals with the regulation of social interactions in a virtual environment. The authors stress that the information function of the Web communication is currently becoming one of the main ones in the modern world. On the one hand, the Web communication provides opportunities for developing people’s talents, abilities and the dissemination of ideas etc., but on the other hand, it causes antisocial and deviant behavior to grow, which may manifest itself through cyberterrorism, virtual theft, cracking of users’ personal accounts etc. Therefore it is necessary to identify effective methods of monitoring users’ bahaviour on the Web and exploring the mechanisms governing Web interactions through the study of the attitude of Internet users to the Web communication and its regulation. The regulation of social interaction in a virtual environment needs to be preliminarily analyzed by IT professionals, including the study of the experiences and consequences of the adoption of identical laws in other countries. Based on the conducted survey, the authors developed the recommendations to improve the system of regulation of social interactions in a virtual environment.
