Peripheral part erythron pediatric patients with inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system responds to hypoxia and inflammation. The authors of the study revealed a change in the functional state of erythrocytes: reduced glucose uptake by erythrocytes, increased sorption capacity of erythrocytes with respect to methylene blue, reduced electrophoretic mobility of erythrocytes, increased acid resistance of erythrocytes. Hypoxia in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is result of disturbance gas exchange function of the morphological elements of the lungs. Any ventilation, perfusion, micro- and macrocirculatory disorders in the lungs accompanied by a deterioration oxygen transport capacity of red blood cells. Acute and chronic stress in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease violates the erythrocyte membrane, their physiological, morphological and biophysical properties is deteriorat. Keywords:
