Abstract:

The article presents results of an investigation into protein polymorphism in populations of four species of small mammals living in the Tyumen Region forest steppe zone. With the help of electrophoresis in polyacrylamid gel, the author detected seasonal (interannual), age- and gender-related variability in gene frequency and polymorphic protein loci genotypes.
