Abstract:

In article results of functioning of the oil and gas industry of Russia in 2012 are considered. The role of Russia in world system of petroproviding is analyzed. Data concerning oil production are provided in Russia with differentiation on regions and the companies. The main indicators characterizing work of oil processing branch of Russia are considered. The structure and dynamics of export of oil and oil products is given. The article describes the regional structure of the oil industry. Regions of Western Siberia and the European part of Russia are still the main oil-producing regions. At the same time in 2013 there was an increase in oil production in the Eastern Siberia and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) by 17% relative to 2012.
This article analyzes trends in the refining industry — increasing the share of refined oil in the structure of production in 2013 to 52.6% (from 51.7% in 2012) and a reduction in the depth of oil refining in 2013 to 70.4% (from 71.2% in 2012). In 2013 the production capacity of primary oil refining in Russia amounted to 296 million tons per year, and the level of capacity utilization — 93%. In the export segment some trends are described — decliningof export of crude oil (by 1.4%) and increasingof export of refined products (by 10% in 2013). In december 2012, when the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline system was installed, the volume of exports to the markets of the Asia-Pacific region increased by 12.5%. Share of Asia- Pacific region in total Russian oil export is about 20.9%.
