From 2000 to 2011, he worked as a pro-rector on scientific work of the University and supervised the implementation of major projects by the University in the framework of Russia Government Regulations no 218, 219, 220. He was engaged in the formation of a network of scientific laboratories and centers equipped with modern technology and modern computers. Member of the Council and the Presidium of the Council for the Development of Innovation in the Tyumen Region, a member of the Expert Council of the "West Siberian Innovation Center". In 1997-2007 he was a member of two dissertational councils on biological sciences at the University of Tyumen. Under his leadership, eight candidates and one doctoral thesis were defended.
